Manufacturers of ERW tubing for the automotive and general engineering industry. In 2006, Caparo Engineering India Pvt Ltd., acquired the assets of Steel Tubes of India Limited (STI) a company with an expected INR 150 Cr. Turnover. The new business will be known as Caparo Tubes India and Caparo plans to modernise and expand the operations at Dewas with an investment of INR 110 Cr (£12.6 million) which will significantly increase the tube making capacity from 50,000 tonnes to 100,000 tonnes.
